      Sometimes I make removal videos on parts that are still good. I pick parts that are I think will help viewers. I try to show everything needed to get the part out without actually changing out a good part. This is such a video.

    I greatly appreciate this video. I ignored my TPMS light, assuming the sensor battery had died. For a while, I could hear a clanking from my left rear wheel. I checked if all the lug nuts were tight and the bolts on my wheel assembly were tight. I couldn't determine the cause of the clanking noise. My tire shop just determined the exact same issue that you outlined in your video. Thanks for explaining!

  • @everydamnjim
    @everydamnjim 5 днів тому

    Had the exact same issue with my 2012 Legacy...and with the same lousy heat shield! Yes, removing the air duct is key (unless of course you're working from underneath the car). Only thing I did differently was I oriented the clamp in the opposite direction so I could get a nut driver straight onto the clamp from above and tighten the p*ss out of it (it might have made getting it started a little more difficult but I think it was worth it). One word of caution to anyone else watching: There is an O2 sensor a little further back from this spot so be VERY CAREFUL not to get the sensor's cable stuck inside the clamp. It would be bad.
